"How are y'all guys" the first words Trent Harmon spoke for his American Idol 2016 audition. Trent Harmon is a country guy from a small town called Amory, Mississippi. He auditioned for the show in Little Rock, Arkansas. He surprised the judges, after hearing of his farm upbringing, by singing the rhythm and blues song "Unaware" by Allen Stone. During Hollywood week he was encouraged to quit when diagnosed with mono, and isolated himself in a bathroom for most of the week to keep the contagious disease from spreading. But before becoming one of the most talented, and the last winner of American Idol, Trent worked at a restaurant on his family's farm that has been in business for the past 30 years. Trent grew up singing in church, in fact, he got his start in music when his mother taught him to sing "Amazing Grace" when he was just 5 years old. He also sang and performed in many musicals throughout Amory High School and at the University of Arkansas-Monticello. Before his graduation from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, he led worship services on campus. He first learned to also play the piano but expanded to also play drums and guitar. Trent Harmon continues to be the humble man he was before American Idol. He continues to "check in" with the fans on social media through Persicoping, Facebook Live, Snapchat, and the list on social media goes on and on. He lets the fans know that he keeps on pushing because we support him so much and he remembers who he is doing this for... the good Lord and, of course, his fans. Right now Trent is on a radio tour promoting his brand new single "There's a Girl." Along-while he is going from radio show to radio show, Trent has a teaser for his first video for "There's a Girl" which could be out 4th of July weekend! It has not been confirmed when his debut album will be released, but we do know that he was been working on it and writing with some pretty legit songwriters in Nashville, Tennessee. What we do know is Big Machine's, Scott Borcheta, said it would be like the country album Justin Timberlake would make. I literally cannot wait to get my hands on this record when it is released! Trent's voice just does something to you when you hear him sing. It's like you stop in your tracks and just listen to what he has to say. It's almost like he's Justin Timberlake by his voice with a little Chris Stapleton in his songwriting. Whether you are a country music fan or not, Trent Harmon should be on your list for artists to look out for. This "simple man" is going to be huge in music! See the official teaser for the "There's a Girl" music video and a performance of "Falling" below. After you watch them, if you haven't already, go pick up his new single "There's a Girl" on iTunes and Google Play. *note, "There's A Girl " music video is out now, to see it go to Trent's official Facebook or Twitter account* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow Trent on his verified social media: Twitter: Trent Harmon Snapchat: harmonwtrent (trentonwilliamharmon) Instagram: Trent Harmon (@officialtrentharmon) Facebook: Trent Harmon Periscope: Trent.Harmon.Music YouTube: Trent Harmon

Maggie Baugh has been playing violin since she was 6 years old, and since then has had training in both classical violin, and fiddle. In 2011, she borrowed her cousin's guitar to work on the first original song, and only 3 months later she had her first performance. Maggie plays over 80 gigs a year while attending High School. She performs on the guitar, and fiddle, and now, the ganjo! (Keith Urban also plays the ganjo, which is totally rad!) Maggie has played fiddle onstage with Neal McCoy and Charlie Daniels Band. She has opened for Ashley Monroe (of Pistol Annie’s), Cole Swindell, Josh Dorr, Radio Romance, Montgomery Gentry, John Anderson, Cowboy Troy and Old Southern Moonshine Revival. In 2015, Maggie spent the summer in Nashville writing and recording for her, One Heck of a Story, CD that is available now! Maggie has 7 endorsements, so far, a few to name are: Taylor Guitar, Durango Boots, and Deering Banjo. She is also a CMA voting member, a NSAI member, and a registered BMI member. She also just announced she will be attending the 2016 CMT Awards in Nashville and be a part of the CMA Music Fest the same week! On Maggie's website there is a review that says she is a mixture of Kelsea Ballerini and Lindsay Ell, and I have to agree! Her voice and her style of singing is a younger version of both of those talented artists! Y'all go check Maggie Baugh and her mad violin skills out! Links to her social media will be listed below and her original song "Heck of a Story" is below! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Instagram: @Maggie_Baugh Twitter: @MaggieBaugh Snapchat: MaggieBaugh16 Facebook: Maggie Baugh YouTube: Maggie Baugh iTunes: Maggie Baugh Website: MaggieBaugh.com |
