Lauren Alaina just dropped a football themed lyric video for her song "History," and it's pretty amazing! She posted a teaser of the video on her Instagram page today saying, "Hey guys!!! Check out my lyric video for #history. Fun fact: it was [only] 25 degrees outside [when the video was filmed] So cold. So worth it. I can check taking over a football stadium off the bucketlist." Check out "History" down below along with lyrics below! This is it, we’re going in Time to show ‘em what we’re made of, made of Sweating blood, here comes the flood I’m gone but nothing’s gonna shake us, shake us Until the end of days, they’ll remember our names (Chorus) Brace yourself, it all goes down tonight Time will tell who’s here for the hardest fight You’re gonna hear the fire in our hearts beating Because we didn’t get this far to get defeated We want the world to see, world to see That we’re coming for the victory, victory You know I’m making history History, history, we’re making history All on the line, we’re gonna strike Oh yeah, we’ll hit ‘em like lightning, lightning The thunder roars, here comes the storm We’ll send them running and hiding Until the end of days, they’ll remember our names (Chorus) Brace yourself, it all goes down tonight Time will tell who’s here for the hardest fight You’re gunna hear the fire in our hearts beating Because we didn’t get this far to get defeated We want the world to see, world to see That we’re coming for the victory, victory You know I’m making history History, history You know I’m making history It’s going down tonight (Chorus) Brace yourself, it all goes down tonight Time will tell who’s here for the hardest fight You’re gunna hear the fire in our hearts beating Because we didn’t get this far to get defeated We want the world to see, world to see That we’re coming for the victory, victory You know I’m making history History, history You know I’m making history

April Kry's music career began when she was a little girl in church, and at the age of 13 she performed “God Bless America” at a gala event where the keynote speaker was legendary Jermaine Jackson. It was then April decided upon her career goal: to be a professional singer. Since then, April has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night, and appeared on national television as a background vocalist for new age singer Enya on Live With Regis & Kelly. Within the years, April has learned to play guitar and has discovered a new-found passion for songwriting. April says her songwriting inspiration comes from things that happen in everyday life. The struggles and heartbreak people go through are two things she loves to write about, because everyone relate to those feelings. She also says Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes and Carrie Underwood are her musical influences because they are strong performers. For April's first EP, Music Speaks, was recorded on none other Nashville, Tennessee where she immediately felt at home. After the release of her EP, April received praise from Love Games on Oxygen and MTV’s The Real World. She has also had a musical partnership with Javier Colon, who was the winner of the first seasons of NBC's The Voice. Her latest single "Fireflies" was written by Jennifer Pappas, JP Rende and Kathryn Raio. April says this about the single, “It’s a song that describes the feelings of falling in love for the first time, a song about being young, carefree and the ability to completely lose yourself in another person. It’s a time in your life that you will never forget, and something that we can all relate to” (from AprilKry.com) The imagery and romance of the lyrics us back in time to that place where we first found love. She says, “The reason I love music is that it brings people together. I truly believe that the lyric is the heart of a song, and without substance, you won’t make a lasting impression. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what language you speak, music is a universal language and if I can touch just one person with a melody or a lyric of mine, I’ve done my job as an artist.” (from AprilKry.com) See April at CMA Music Fest, The Stomp - Soulshine, Hard Rock Cafe, and more! Song Writing: One Direction's songwriting process is just like writing a country song. They go in the early hours of the morning and just write. They write about things that are going on in their life, their friend's lives, or things that they have observed. This is actually how Harry Styles explains his songwriting specifically. The group said writing for their latest album Made in the A.M." they took two months off instead of writing and recording like they usually do. All four of them agree that they had some of the best songs they have ever written and heard of this album. So they wouldn't put out an album that they did not believe in or feel like their fans would not connect with it. It is the same with country music songwriters, they write songs that are either relateable or not at all depending on your life. Charity Work: These boys do for of charity than anyone could know. They're currently on a break from touring and supposed to be taking it easy. Well Niall and Louis are competing against each other in a soccer match for charity in June! Harry Styles recently cut his long and beautiful hair (rip) for Little Princess Trust. This is a charity that provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. The boys have even traveled to Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra on a two-day trip to the Ghanaian capital for Red Nose Day, and they got VERY emotional as expected. They also help throw balls for young boys and girls who are sick to make them feel like princes and princesses for the night. The band supports up to 10 charities and foundations. As country fans we can totally relate and support that because we see on social media all the time where our favorite artists have donated their money and time to charity, or have started their own. Family and Values: These boys have not changed since they day the stepped on that X-Factor stage. When the boys announced they were taking a break after 5 years all they have done is spent time with the ones they love. Louis had his first child, Freddie, with ex Briana Jungwirth and has spent an endless amount of time with him and girlfriend Danielle Campbell. Liam Payne has said his parents are moving in with him for a while during the bands break, and has been spotted out with his girlfriend Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. He also posts silly pictures on his Instagram account with his friends and of himself. Niall Horan has traveled the world while on break with his loved ones. Harry Styles has been seen out and about with his sister Gemma, and spending time with his close friends and family. These boys are just like the rest of us, just with a little extra fame! As country music lovers and think we can all relate because they just want to spend time with friends and family just like we do! Fan Interaction: If you have been to a One Direction concert you know there is tons of fan interaction just like a country artist's concert. They have had silly string fights with the fans, they talk to the fans, and they make the experience 10x better! Outside of concerts Harry has Skyped fans, he has sent video messages, and even text messages! All of them take the time out to make sure the fans know that they love them! They tweet them back on Twitter sometimes, and they have even commented on Instagram pictures too. For them it's all about the fans. They also have Project Home going on right now which Louis Tomlinson, wrote the song along with Liam Payne, and singer/songwriter Jamie Scott. Project Home is all about the fans promoting the song "Home" because it deserves more recognition than it has gotten, and it keeps the fans involved with the boys since they are on a break because the boys have promoted it too! If this doesn't make you think of things country artists have done to connect with fans then I don't know what will! Important Roles and Values: Harry Styles has been cast to play in Christopher Nolan's movie, Dunkirk. The film centers on the British military evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk in 1940. A quickly-assembled British fleet of more than 800 boats saved more than 335,000 soldiers who had been cut off by the German Army. As the rescue was concluding, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill told Parliament, “We shall fight on beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender.” Shooting Dunkirk will begin in May at many of the locations where the true-life events actually took place, and it expected to hit theaters on July 21, 2017. (info about the movie from variety.com) As if anyone didn't know three members from 1D (Harry, Louis, and Liam) are British, and Niall is Irish. I believe the role Harry is playing is monumental for the love of his home. Which shows how much he values where he grew up and it will always be in his heart. Some of the charities the boys support are also based in the UK. To me this shows how much they value, appreciate, and love their home... everybody relates to that. One Direction can relate to the fans of country music because the way they live, the charity work they do, and their songwriting process! They also have that amazing Made in the A.M. CD out, so y'all should take a listen and see if you can hear what I hear. Shortly after in 2012, he left his small-town roots in Silverton, Oregon to pursue a career in country music. “I Can’t Wait (Be My Wife)" was Ben's debut single, and was released with Arista Nashville in 2014. The single was produced by Kyle Lehning (best known for his longtime work with Randy Travis) the song grabbed Billboard and All Access' attention, immediately being called the summer wedding song of 2014. Ben has since then released his new single "We Were Over" in February of this year! I love this single so much because it's such a good summer song! There is heartbreak involved in the song, but he also sings about the great times they had together, which is probably what you would want in a long lasting relationship. Ben Rue is a name y'all will want to remember! Lyrics to the chorus of "We Were Over" below! "We were over the moon over the stars Over our heads in the back seat of my dad's car Flying high like a seaside roller coaster You were all over me I was all over you We were bare feet boardwalks, rocky road, and tattoos But when that summer wind blew colder We were over, over" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Go see Ben on tour!
