Chris Lane is a singer/songwriter from Kernersville, North Carolina. He attended Glenn High School; he played football and baseball, and went on to play baseball in college. Chris has had a lot of surgeries, which hurt his chances of playing ball so he learned how to play the guitar. After that he started a cover band which charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in 2012, with their album Let's Ride. In 2007 he and his brother auditioned for the seventh season of American Idol but did not make it to Hollywood week. It was a year later he signed with Big Loud Mountain record label and launched his country music career. In 2013 Chris moved to Nashville and his career sky-rocketed. After the move he has opened for The Band Perry, Eli Young Band, Lee Brice, Chris Young and Brantley Gilbert, among others. In 2014 he opened for Florida Georgia Line on their "This Is How We Roll" tour. On June 10, 2014 Chris released his debut single, "Broken Windshield View", with Big Loud Mountain. His single sold 11,000 downloads in its first week, and debuted at number 45 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In November of 2015 Chris' Fix EP was released and peaked at twenty-five on the Hot Country Songs charts. He was also on tour with country star Dustin Lynch for his, "Hell of a Night" tour! See him now on tour with Rascal Flatts! Chris' new single Fix is starting to get a lot of airplay on country radio stations. This song is 100% one of my favorite songs on the radio right now, it's such an upbeat dance song, but I know it relates to a lot of people! I really just love to jam out to it in my car whenever I'm driving! I think the song is really self-explanatory, it's about a guy (or Chris) wanting a girl but the catch is she's in a relationship with another man, whom she needs to break-up with because Chris is better... obviously! Lyrics below: "I'll be your smooth ride, that late night, your Walter White high I'll be your first time, that's so right Get you falling in love at the end of the night With that good-ish, that long trip, that sugar on your lips That favorite habit, gotta have it, you can't quit I got your fix I'll be the high that never lets you down (I got your fix) The one you crave when no one is around (I got your fix) I'll pick you up and never let you go (I got your fix) Never let you go, hey hey" I really just love his voice, this song, and the EP! Lucy Hale, who most everyone knows as "Aria" from the hit series "Pretty Little Liars," has a not so hidden talent up her sleeve... she sings country music. Lucy released her debut studio album Road Between June 3rd, 2014 with label DMG Nashville. The record sold over 44,000 copies, peaked at number 4 on the top country albums, and the album was ranked number 14 on the Billboard 200 charts. Her first single "You Sound Good to Me" was number 20 of the Top Country Songs list in 2014. Lucy also released music videos for "You Sound Good to Me" and "Lie a Little Better" in 2014. Lucy has not released any new country music since 2014, but with it looking like season 7 of Pretty Little Liars is unfortunately going to be the last, that may change within a year or two... hopefully! Road Between has 11 beautifully written songs with a few co-written by famous songwriters in Nashville, Hilliary Lindsey and Kacey Musgraves, with one co-written by Lucy herself! It was said Lucy was going to tour with this album two years ago, but was cancelled due to a vocal problem. So hopefully the "Lie a Little Better" star will come out with some new music during the end of 2016 or in 2017. Lucy has a great voice, and when I first saw her music video for "You Sound Good to Me" I had no idea she was an actress on "Pretty Little Liars," I just know a great voice when I hear one! Lyrics to "You Sound Good to Me" below! Now go buy her album in hopes for some new music on the radio in the future! "It's like Amen from the back of the choir Sweet home of freedom underneath the tires Kicked back sittin' by a cracklin' fire Strumming them guitar strings And like an old song on the radio That you grew up to and everybody knows Rushin' of the water when the river rolls Winding wild and free Baby, you sound good to me Baby, you sound so good to me Mm-m-mm like a melody Baby, you sound good to me" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Twitter: @LucyHale Instagram: @LucyHale Facebook: Lucy Hale YouTube: Lucy Hale VEVO Website (not associated by Lucy herself) Lucy-hale.net and the official Lucyhale.com Snapchat: follow "PLL" and you just might see her! ----------------------------------------------------Video Below----------------------------------------------------------- |
