Alexis Taylor is a Canadian singer and songwriter who lives in Nashville and is pursuing her dream as a country artist. When she was 12 she wrote her first song and learned guitar. Throughout high school she performed at many local venues including the Huntsville Algonquin Theatre, The Gravenhurst Opera House, Hidden Valley Resort, and Deerhurst Resort. Alexis competed as a finalist in Muskoka Star Quest and was a part of the first annual Muskoka Song Night. After graduating high school, Alexis studied at Berklee College of Music and performed at various venues and radio stations throughout North America. When she first visited Nashville in 2012, she fell in love with music city and decided to move there permanently and pursue music full time. During the 2016 summer, Alexis' international career took off with a tour throughout Scandinavia opening for renowned singer/songwriter Doug Seegers. She is now working on new music, and teased a song on Instagram, with hopes to share soon. Alexis' voice sounds like she's telling a story every time she sings a song. She reminds me of Danielle Bradberry from "The Voice" so if they ever collaborated it would be out of this world! But really, Alexis' voice is a voice country radio needs!
