I usually try to be professional about my blogs, because I consider them apart of my portfolio for future jobs, and I usually start by telling you guys about the artists before I get into their music... but this one will be different. Carly Pearce is what we need in country music. A woman who can write beautiful lyrics, and turn it into a masterpiece. I am loving what women of country music are putting on albums, and releasing to radio (whether or not the charts or radio want to love it or play it, and let it go #1. #calledout) What gets me with her single, Every Little Thing, is that you can feel all of the emotions when she sings it. I feel it all, I can even relate to this song in my own way. That's the best part, relating to a song someone wrote, because that is exactly what they wanted out of it. To connect with others and help others. Right now in the country music scene it's important to have an artist like Carly Pearce. She has the voice, the talent, and the passion. Carly is from Kentucky, she has always known she wanted to be a country artist. When she was 11 years old she began touring with a band, and sang at Dollywood every weekday, 6 times a day. She has been living in Nashville of 8 years now, and is apart of CMT Next Women of Country. She has been invited to play the Grand Ole Opry 30 times, and have performed with artists such as Hunter Hayes, Lucy Hale, Kip Moore, and more. She was also an opener for Kelsea Ballerini's The First Time Tour. Her collaboration with Josh Abbott Band scored her a Top 40 hit with "Wasn't That Drunk." Rolling Stone Country, The Huffington Post, Country Living, Sounds Like Nashville, The Boot, Whiskey Riff and One Country have all named Carly an “Artist to Watch” in addition to being selected as a CMT "Listen Up 17 for 2017" artist. She is also recording an album, you can buy "If My Name Was Whiskey" now on iTunes, along with "Every Little Thing"! Carly Pearce is definitely one to watch, country fans love her, and I am rooting for her to go far in her career. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
