Erin Kinsey is a 17-year-old singer and songwriter from Rockwall, Texas. At the age of 11 Erin began singing, playing guitar, and performing as a solo artist. In 2016, Erin performed at the annual County to County Festival in London, England at the O2 Arena. In which, she was chosen to perform out of 400 applicants, who entered from all over the world. Fast forward into 2018, and Erin has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and opened for Hunter Hayes for the St. Jude Rock 'n Roll Nashville Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. I like Erin's music because it has that relatable touch to it, you can tell she wants to craft her music based on her life. Her voice is also very beautiful and mature, she reminds me of a younger Kacey Musgraves or Lauren Alaina with her county twang. Erin also excels when she cover songs by other artists, she turns the music into her own and lyrics sound like she wrote the songs herself. To have only began performing six years ago, Erin sounds like she has been singing much longer than that. Erin Kinsey belongs on a stage sharing her story - with music. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To listen to Erin's music you can go to her website here. Hilary Williams is continuing the family legacy in country music. Williams is the daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and granddaughter to Hank Williams Sr. So you could say talent runs deep in her bloodline. Williams released her debut album My Lucky Stars in May of this year. This album comes years after a tragic car accident in 2006, where she died and came back to life. She told Rolling Stone after the accident the healing process was writing songs for this album, and that it was very therapeutic for her during that time. She says she did not rush this album, that she wanted to take her time, so it would be exactly how she envisioned it. In 2010 Williams published a memoir, Sign of Life, which is also a title to a track on her debut album. In this memoir she discusses her car accident, her recovery, and what it was like going up in the Williams family. I love albums and artists who put their heart and soul into projects, that is it so personal to them, it has to be exact. Williams does this with My Lucky Stars, you can hear her pour her heart in each and very song. Her latest single "Crazy" is one of my favorite song of 2018, it's a beautiful song about the ups and downs of relationships, but making it work because the love they have for one another. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can find her on all music streaming services.
